changsha city has a population of around seven million. thats nearly the size of new york city.
today when we were leaving out hotel, we saw wendy, the woman who was the adoption guide from hunan when i adopted ruby in 2003. she recognized me but of course not ruby. i wish i had had a baby photo of ruby with me to jog her memory.
it was a nice, unexpected connection.
